With more than fifteen years of experience in the field of Graphic Design, Typography and Motion Graphics with UN organizations like UNDP and with different houses in Broadcast Media and advertising agency, I have been working as the Head of Graphics, Desh Television Ltd. Besides, I worked for the UNDP, Bangladesh, as the National Consultant (Branding & Visualization) from 2013-14 till 2018-24. Prior to Desh TV, I worked as a Sr. Motion Graphic Designer with NEWS 24, Motion Graphic designer with Independent Television, Ekushey Television (ETV) and National Television (RTV) as well. Earlier, I worked for the USAID funded children’s television program SISIMPUR for 2 years. Also Worked for FCL Bangladesh and Malabee Creative Ltd. as a Graphic Designer.
I also design and develop fonts. I have few renowned bangla fonts like- “UN Bangla (for United Nations), Rajon Shoily, Rajon Prangshu, Rajon BD Pratidin (for Highest circulated Bangla Newspaper -Bangladesh Pratidin), Rajon Somoy (for most popular News channel -Somoy Television Ltd), Pro-Ba Font” etc. In other professional arrangement, I completed various Info Graphics, Video Documentary and Print Jobs for National and International Organization like as UNDP, KATALYST, BRAC, USAID, INTERTEK, DHAKA UNIVERSITY and the likes.
In my academic life, however, I completed BFA (Hons) Graphic Design (Concentration: Branding & Communication) and MFA Graphic Design (Concentration: Motion Graphic & Animation) from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

I designed & developed font solutions for many well-known brands. My typefaces are unique and exclusive. A unique and distinctive font is integral to a brand’s make up and becomes part of who you are. Quality typography design not only makes the words more visually appealing, it can make them easier to read. Both of these elements help to ensure your message is delivered – and that’s ultimately what you want. Sometimes people wonder why we even need typography design. After all, there are already hundreds in existence. What’s wrong with just going with a simple Times or Helvetica font with standard spacing? The answer is we don’t necessarily need new fonts, the same way we probably don’t need new designs for furniture or clothing. But people seek different styles for a myriad of reasons – to set themselves apart, to go along with a trend or to find something that is a better fit.
ভাষার জন্যে, বাংলার জন্যে আমার ক্ষুদ্র প্রয়াস… প্রযুক্তির কল্যাণে প্রতিটা ক্ষেত্রই আজ ‘ই’-সমৃদ্ধ । কিন্তু, যখন বাংলা বর্ণমালার দিকে তাকাই, এর খুব একটা সময়োপযোগি সমৃদ্ধতা আমাদের চোখে পড়েনা । অথচ, বাংলা আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা এবং ভাষাভাষীর সংখ্যার হিসেবে এটা পৃথিবীর ৫ম বৃহত্তম ভাষা। ইংরেজি ফন্টের সমৃদ্ধ জগৎটা যখন দেখি তখন বাংলা ফন্টের অপ্রতুলতাটা আরো প্রকট ভাবে চোখে পড়ে। একজন ডিজাইনার হিসেবে এই অভাববোধটা আমি গভীরভাবে অনুভব করি। মূলতঃ বাংলা ভাষার প্রতি আন্তরিকতা ও দায়বদ্ধতা থেকেই বাংলা ফন্ট তৈরির কাজটা আমি শুরু করি ২০০৯ এ। পরবর্তীতে ২০১৩ সালে রাজন শৈলী ও রাজন প্রাংশু নামে দুটি ফন্ট ডেভলাপ করি এবং ২০১৪ সালে সবার জন্য ফ্রি উন্মক্ত করেদেই। আমার ডিজাইন এবং ডেভেলপ করা বাংলা টাইপফেস এর মধ্যে অন্যতম- ইউ এন বাংলা-২০২০, সময় বাংলা-২০২১, রাজন প্রতিদিনের বাংলাদেশ-২০২৩, রাজন বাংলাদেশ প্রতিদিন-২০১৭, স্বাধীন বাংলা-২০১৮, রাজন শৈলী-২০১৩, রাজন প্রাংশু- ২০১৩ ইত্যাদি।
